Remove AI detection

Masks the signature AI generation tools leave in your images and videos, right during duplication.

Where to find it

It's an option to tick (🛡️ Remove AI detection) in:

  • Duplication → Simple video and Advanced video;
  • Duplication → Images;
  • the API (remove_ai_detection, or the dedicated route /api/v1/ai-detection).

What it does

  • Images: wipes the metadata left by AI tools (EXIF, XMP, IPTC, C2PA), replaces it with a realistic device identity, and adds slight sensor grain.
  • Videos: adds a near-invisible counter-watermark that differs on each copy, on top of the metadata already rewritten by duplication.
Some robust watermarks baked into the pixels (SynthID-type) can't be removed with any guarantee.

FAQ

Is it a separate module?

No, it's an option in video and image duplication. The former “AI Detection” module was merged into the duplicator.

Is it available in the API?

Yes, from the Pro plan, via remove_ai_detection or the /api/v1/ai-detection route (images up to 25 MB, videos up to 150 MB and 120 s).
