How to use it
- 1Open Comparator in the dashboard.
- 2Drop the original in File 1 and the copy in File 2 (video or image, or from Drive).
- 3Click Compare files.
Reading the score
The score combines the image (60%) and the technical metadata (40%). For a video, 5 frames spread across its length are compared.

| 75% and above | Very similar | Likely to be seen as a duplicate |
| 45 to 74% | Moderate similarity | Partial difference |
| Below 45% | Distinct files | Well differentiated, safe to repost |
The breakdown also shows, field by field, what differs between the two files (in green).

Does the Comparator use my quota?
No, it uses neither quota nor tokens. It's included in every paid plan.
Is a low score good?
Yes: the lower the score, the more your copy differs from the original.
